Founder of the Luxury Travel University

For Angela Hughes, coaching and creating marketing strategies for travel professionals and travel companies has always been her passion. For 35+ years, she has actively been selling and operating Trips & Ships Luxury Travel, a full service travel agency with 63 advisors. As a Certified Travel Consultant since 1993, Angela has made it her mission to create premium bespoke experiences through her luxury consultation business, all while privately consulting agencies and DMC’s to build their luxury travel market space through the Luxury Travel University. 

Angela has been featured in the Wall Street Journal,  The Washington Post, Travel Weekly, Luxury Travel Advisor, Travel Market Report, Insider Travel Report, German LUXE magazines and appears on Fox 35 TV as a regular travel contributor, and often is a guest speaker around the country in the tourism industry and on social media. She has been recognized as one of the 1% of travel advisors [out of 100,000] by Internova.  Hughes lectures as an adjunct professor at Brigham Young University (BYU) in Geography and Travel & Tourism. She has traveled to 100+ countries and previously lived in Osaka, Japan. Angela also gives back through travel via their non-profit Color My World creating humanitarian trips meeting sustainable development goals around the world.
